Prodigy Tower - Lord Apartment Keyframes

This is one of the most fun sets I got to work on. It only features one "fun" gory scene and the aftermath. The idea was that of all the apartments in the level the Xenomorph ends up here, causing trouble for the attendees of a rich man's 17th century themed party for rich people doing rich people things.
The block out of the space was given by PD Andy NIcholson, who had fun designing the breakup of glass and solid wall and the space overall, inspired with what we were doing in the exterior of the tower.
After that Marc Mestre https://www.artstation.com/marcmestre
worked on the classical details for the hallway and then it came to me to design the main room and take it to final. Very fun to set dress it, inspired by Blade Runner's Tyrell office and bedroom, there are in fact little easter eggs among them like an owl with red eyes on top of an egyptian column of some kind you can barely see in the profile shot of the solider.
It also features a deconstructed wall used as museum part right before entering the main room, also inspired by the breakup of the walls and exterior.
And the chicken, which was only a silly placeholder that would mark the main course of the feast on the side table in storyteling terms, but that due to time was marked with an oversized chicken 3d model that made us laugh every time we would see on a render. Still there on the finals though, but I don't think it made it to the show. RIP chicken.
The swiss knife that is Ruben Alba https://www.artstation.com/rubenalba
provided the characters with which we set up the scene to give it some sense of action that has happened, the blood trails give cues of some specific movements or events that may have occured. The table was designed with everything in place and then broken up too, in the end we don't see most of the action, we see the aftermath and we find it out through the perspective of Hermit coming in after. Ruben rendered the final frames in Octane and then they came back to me for paintover.
Very fun colab with the team
